Anna Hollmann

Born 1983 as a zodiac sign Capricorn, her youth was stamped with the upcoming Manga and Anime Scene in the middle of the 90s. In 2003 Anna began to draw her first stories. Soon, after her first publications in the Animexx’s Manga Mix, success was quick to come.

In 2008 TOKYOPOP spotted her talent and started publishing the series Stupid Story, which inspired both readers and critics. In both 2008 and 2009 she was awarded with the “Sondermann” for best own production (national). In 2011 she enriched a very successful co-production of various German artists, “Grimms Manga Sonderband” with her charming adoption of the classic “Rumpelstilzchen”. In the same year the third volume of her series was published with the result of another “Sondermann” award. Winning three times opened the “Hall of Fame”-Doors for Anna making her one of the most successful German Manga-Artists.
